If you’re looking for a loan under €5,000 and had a loan with Athenry Credit Union in the past 36 months the only document required is 1 Recent Payslip.1

1 Recent Payslip
(2 Payslips if presented with overtime or bonus)
2 Months Bank Statement (most recent)
(2 Credit Union statement if no bank account)
1 Proof of Address
(Utility Bill or Bank Statement less than 6 months old)
1 Photo ID
(Valid Passport or Driving Licence)
1 Proof of PPS Number
(Letter from Revenue or Payslip. Please note that the new Public Service Cards are not accepted)
Loan Over €5,000
2 Recent Payslips
For Self-Employed: Last set of Audited Accounts
3 Months Bank Statement (most recent)
(More may be required if statements do not show all relevant information. Credit Union statement if no bank account)
1 Proof of Address
(Utility Bill or Bank Statement less than 6 months old)
1 Photo ID
(Valid Passport or Driving Licence)
1 Proof of PPS Number

- The member has had arrears on previous loans,
- Any issues arise from credit agency enquiries.
Up to date I.D. and proof of address must have been provided in the last 24
