Tax Clearance Cert or letter from accountant confirming all tax affairs are up to date and in order.
Last 12 months bank statement on any bank accounts held current / savings / loan(s).
Last 3 months Credit Card statements.
Full Planning Permission held for self-builds.
Copy of the house plans and specifications for self-builds.
Costings from Engineer / Architect where self-build. Your Engineer/ Architect must attach a copy of their professional indemnity insurance.

Home Insurance Policy with the interest of Athenry Credit Union noted therein. Buildings under Construction Insurance with the interest of Athenry Credit Union noted therein for self-build.

Valuation of property addressed to Athenry Credit Union together with a copy of the professional indemnity insurance of the valuer.
*Only required if Refinancing.
12 months Mortgage bank statement where same being refinanced.

Mortgage repayments must be made by direct debit.
¹ Where a member has drawn down a mortgage of over €150,000, Athenry Credit Union will reimburse the members legal costs to a maximum value of €1500.00. The member(s) must first pay their legal costs and then provide Athenry Credit Union with a paid receipt from their solicitor. Athenry Credit Union will then deposit the €1500.00 into the member(s) share account held with Athenry Credit Union.
