Fraud Awareness
There is currently a fraud attempt in circulation targeting members through impersonation of Electric Ireland. 
This is a scam!
This is a scam!Members of Credit Unions across Ireland are receiving text messages with the following message 
“Do you have a Credit Union account & did you know you could save 30% on your bills?”
This is a highly sophisticated & plausible scam appearing to come from a trusted utility brand to lower suspicion.
Members may receive text messages from other trusted companies with a similar type of message.
Do not reply or engage Do not click on any links in the message Do not give out any personal information / pins / passwords
Report it immediately to your Credit Union Use official contact details to contact Block the phone number who sent the message Hang up the phone if you receive a phone call Be fraud aware at all times, stay up to date.
